Strong Stuff
Filament tape for closing boxes and envelopes that you want to stay closed. It has fiberglass strands embedded lengthwise in it which makes it very hard to tear by accident. You get 10 yds of the stuff, 3/4" wide, in a clear plastic desk type dispenser.

Bow Help
For those who are bow tying challenged, the rigors of holiday decorating can produce sleepless nights wondering how to get away with murdering Ms Stewart. But wait, there is an answer. (To tying bows. We know nothing about murder.) The answer is Bowties(tm): a 3-3/4" wide x 16" long shiny red metallic ribbon with wire reinforced edges. Follow the included instructions on tying and the wire will hold loops and ends precisely where they should be. Great for Wreaths, newel posts, even big packages. Get several and just tell Martha to buzz off.

Itty Bitty Ziplocks
Ziplock(tm) type plastic bag of the size gnomes use to store leftovers. 1" sq, 2" sq, 2" x 3" or 3" x 4" (our each is a bag of 100), clear polyethylene (the 2" x 3" 27906 has a white strip across one side, 36562 does not.). Store rings, small rock samples, biology parts, and model pieces. Great for cleaning up behind your Guinea pig when you take him for a walk.

Rejoice, we have finally found a source of reasonably priced borosilicate lab glassware. This is the kind of glass in the trade marked Pyrex(tm) and Kimax(tm) labware. The stuff you can put right over the flame of the Bunsen burner, or directly onto the hot plate. This stuff is imported from China, and is considered student grade, which is good enough for anything but the most exotic applications. We have beakers, test tubes, graduated cylinders and flasks. Compare the prices below and you will see that they are around half the U.S. equivalent. Call us for larger quantity prices.

You'd expect to find these 5" x 7" souvenir cards at Navy Pier, before there was anything at Navy Pier. They're circa 1980, with full-color touristy photos. If you're a Chicago buff, frame them. Or pass them out at your next party and see who can pinpoint the date of the photos from high-rise construction and cars in the background. Or actually use them as notecards, if you don't mind the slightly dated look. (10) in a pack, with at least (5) different scenes.

There aren't that many of these flexible chopping mats, and the versatile 15" x 12" x 0.024" thick mats are not only ideal for small kitchens where every inch counts, they're great for any kitchen, and for cookouts, camping and picnics. but you still shouldn't run with them. Ignore what the packages say: They're both 6-1/4" long with 2-3/4" cutting blades. One has plastic handles and "stainless plus" blades, whatever that means. The other has slightly smaller plastic handles and "stainless plus Teflon® coated" non-stick blades. Whatever the manufacturer called them, they're good little utility scissors for home, school or office and the kids won't punch holes in the table or each other with them.
