Filament tape for closing boxes and envelopes that you want to stay closed. It has fiberglass strands embedded lengthwise in it which makes it very hard to tear by accident. You get 10 yds of the stuff, 3/4" wide, in a clear plastic desk type dispenser.

For those who are bow tying challenged, the rigors of holiday decorating can produce sleepless nights wondering how to get away with murdering Ms Stewart. But wait, there is an answer. (To tying bows. We know nothing about murder.) The answer is Bowties(tm): a 3-3/4" wide x 16" long shiny red metallic ribbon with wire reinforced edges. Follow the included instructions on tying and the wire will hold loops and ends precisely where they should be. Great for Wreaths, newel posts, even big packages. Get several and just tell Martha to buzz off.

Rejoice, we have finally found a source of reasonably priced borosilicate lab glassware. This is the kind of glass in the trade marked Pyrex(tm) and Kimax(tm) labware. The stuff you can put right over the flame of the Bunsen burner, or directly onto the hot plate. This stuff is imported from China, and is considered student grade, which is good enough for anything but the most exotic applications. We have beakers, test tubes, graduated cylinders and flasks. Compare the prices below and you will see that they are around half the U.S. equivalent. Call us for larger quantity prices.

You'd expect to find these 5" x 7" souvenir cards at Navy Pier, before there was anything at Navy Pier. They're circa 1980, with full-color touristy photos. If you're a Chicago buff, frame them. Or pass them out at your next party and see who can pinpoint the date of the photos from high-rise construction and cars in the background. Or actually use them as notecards, if you don't mind the slightly dated look. (10) in a pack, with at least (5) different scenes.

Let's cut to the chase here -- buy these the first time you read this, or they're going to be gone! There aren't that many of these flexible chopping mats, and the versatile 15" x 12" x 0.024" thick mats are not only ideal for small kitchens where every inch counts, they're great for any kitchen, and for cookouts, camping and picnics. Our each is a set of (2) of the translucent Euro-look mats that protect countertops from sharp knives and fresh-from-the-oven cookies, and protect food from outdoor surfaces. They can be lifted and slightly folded to funnel chopped food neatly into a pot. They're dishwasher safe, and roll up for portage or storage.

but you still shouldn't run with them. Ignore what the packages say: They're both 6-1/4" long with 2-3/4" cutting blades. One has plastic handles and "stainless plus" blades, whatever that means. The other has slightly smaller plastic handles and "stainless plus TeflonĀ® coated" non-stick blades. Whatever the manufacturer called them, they're good little utility scissors for home, school or office and the kids won't punch holes in the table or each other with them.

They call it the "Krazy Cutter" and it's going to make your life a whole bunch easier. It's a little 2-3/8" long x 3/16" thick teardrop-shaped paper slicer with a teensy rust- and dullness-proof ceramic blade that magically cuts through paper and plastic. Perfect for clipping newsprint, cutting wrapping paper, and opening deviously sealed packaging, including the heavy stuff if you press a bit. Even CD cases. The krazy part? Won't cut your fingers or anything else. You could run it right over your hand, press down and everything, and nothing. Really. We tried it on some expendable employees. You know what this means? You can take it on airplanes, which further means that when you get to the coast you'll actually be able to open all the packages full of the stuff you sent ahead.

Don't know, do you? You need these Freezer Labels with two lines to record the item and date (and snowflake decorations at no extra charge). Use the Kitchen Labels with two blank lines (and a decorative bunch of veggies) to identify those goodies you canned, baked, pickled or re-packaged to fool the other mothers at the school bake sale, or as extra freezer labels. Our each is a package of (24) 2" x 3" peel-and-stick labels.
