Scaled Down Christmas

We have pieces from a Buck Rogers game called, we are told, “Buck Rogers Battle for the 25th Century.” Except for the Gun Pods, which are all dark grey, the pieces are all assortments of: green, yellow, blue, purple, brown and violet. Itty Bitty Ziplocks
Ziplock(tm) type plastic bag of the size gnomes use to store leftovers. 1" sq, 2" sq, 2" x 3" or 3" x 4" (our each is a bag of 100), clear polyethylene (the 2" x 3" 27906 has a white strip across one side, 36562 does not.). Store rings, small rock samples, biology parts, and model pieces. Great for cleaning up behind your Guinea pig when you take him for a walk.

A Pyramid of Prisms
Polished glass equilateral prisms. Equilateral because each edge of the end is the same length, 25mm. Thus, as all you geometry students know, each of the angles is also the same, 60 degrees. These are school grade and are fine for decorative and demonstration. They do a nice job of diffracting light to produce a nice rainbow-like spectrum, but are definitely not up to instrumentation standards. The missing dimension, length, is shown below.
