Scopes, Too--- Just Not Trucks

From Humvee®, the folks who make those wide, squatty military vehicles, this 12X30 telescoping spotting scope is 5-1/2" long when retracted, 15" extended, and 1-1/2” dia. Box says it’s a “telescope,” but what do boxes know? We have to say, we’ve seen better—this one’s field of view is a little narrow—but we love it for hiking, biking and camping since it weighs less than a 1/2-lb. Focus by easing one section in or out a bit. Has a rubber-coated body, and comes in a nice soft case with a belt loop and a lens cleaning cloth.
