Helmet Of Many Armies...
These Romanian combat helmets were used in small numbers in Romania during WWII and up to the 1970s. They’re still in use in some reserve units, and are also currently used by the Afghan National Army. Very dark paint—looks black to us—with black leather fold-down ear flaps and a chin strap. Measure approx 11” x 9- 1/4” x 6” with a slightly beaky front. Good condition, considering—and hard to come by.
