It’s the Aero Clock®, a fully functioning, STEM-educational DIY wooden wall clock that’s as much a puzzle as it is a model, with precise engineering that reveals the inner workings of a weighted pendulum clock. “It’s completely amazing—a dream kit for clock fans,” says Ellen, AS&S’s official timekeeper. Measures 29-1/2” x 18-1/2” x 6-1/2” with (320) parts (the clock, not Ellen) and should take about 11 hours to assemble. Level of difficulty is “hard,” which is perfect for expert modelmakers like you and Ellen. When you’re done, mount it to a wall, wind it up and watch the fruits of your labor tick by, second-by-second. Ages 14+.
