But he never minded when we turned on this Farpoint® 4,500-lumen, screw-in ceiling fan. Whisper quiet with adjustable speeds and a timer, the unit has a 4000K (neutral white) color temp and comes with a remote control. Best is, the entire unit screws directly into a standard light socket—voila! You should have heard the Oohs and Aahs when Pat screwed one in at the office. Also comes with a base extension for can lights, or you can wire it into your ceiling. No matter, the (4) blades snap on and have a 16” wingspan with a nice round light beneath them. Very modern looking—clean, white, bright and cool. Ahhh.
