Don’t be cruel and spring random pop quizzes on your cables, but feel free to test them now and then to make sure they’re retaining what they should. Do it with this Model TCT-255K multi-network cable tester kit from Elenco®, which tests different unshielded wiring-schemed telephone cables with RJ11 and RJ45 connectors, and coax cables (F and BNC connectors). Go ahead, test ’em before and after they’re installed—that’s what the kit is for! Has a mapping function, cable identification function (straight or cross-pinned), open or short testing, low battery indicator and auto power-off after 30 seconds. Assembly and soldering required. Lead-free solder is included, but you will need to supply your own hot iron, OR buy one of ours if you don't have one yet!
