There are small paint scratches, the mechanical stage controls are a little loose but still work and the focus knobs are a little stiff, but that’s probably just the old internal grease that hasn’t moved in years. These personality quirks are easily addressed by a microscope cleaning/tune-up. Besides the original price on these new is about $2,000.00
