Don’t trust nature, or the front desk at your hotel, to give you a wake-up call? We understand. That’s why we travel with this 4" x 4" x 2" silver plastic alarm clock with glow-in-the-dark hands and numbers. It’s very cool, we have to say. Takes (1) “AA” battery to power the quartz movement, but you can track down a battery (oh, look, there’s one for sale just a few lines below this one). The clock face light is not very bright (better for sleeping), but the numbers are big (3-3/8” tall), bright (a very pleasant sporty green) and soothingly glowing. Now all you have to do is pack a bag and book a flight (or gas up the car).
